Help dating a tuxedo vest

Hi there!
I need help dating this tuxedo vest. Best guess is 1930-40s. My knowledge of menswear is sadly lacking.
It is a backless vest in silk faille, also lined in silk. I have seen the same label in white and gold on another wedding suit from the 30's, so I am unsure. It's a super fun piece!

Nice vest! The label looks art deco, I would say early 30s on this one. I am sure some others will chime in with their opinions.

The store opened in 1874 and their last shop closed in the mid-80s.

I managed to narrow down their operations in Boston as being from 1925 to 1970 (which doesn't help much!):

1925 they bought out a Boston store:

Hi,

I remember Rogers Peet, and did not realize they had long ago closed. I have a lovely grey morning top hat and few 1920s and 1930s hat boxes with their logo. I agree that the vest looks 1930s, perhaps from the early part of the decade.

It is quite handsome!
