Help dating a vintage beaded collar

Hi,

I acquired this beaded collar yesterday and would love some help in dating it! The large beads appear to be painted glass (most of the paint has worn away), the back is satin and overall it's a pretty heavy piece.

I have attached photos of the whole collar, a close-up of the beads and a close-up of part of the hook and eye closure on the back. Any and all help is welcome!

Hi,

It looks to me to be a cross between the beaded pearl collars of the 1950's, and the home crafter beaded jewelry and collars of the mid to late 1960s. The silver cording looks like the type used in the 1960's for the do-it-yourself ones. I still have some of the old 1960s craft booklets with pictures of collars, hair pieces, cuffs, jewelry, etc, made of silver cording and beads.
