Hi, i used to be a clothes collectomaniac lol.
Mostly 80’s and 90’s now times are hard i would like to sell a few bits.
Examples are Gucci bottoms, Louis Vuitton bag, dolce and gabanna little black dress.
Where is the best place to sell?
I was thinking of putting them on eBay on auction as I would have no idea of a price, should I do this. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the forums.

To help with dating your jacket, can you please post full photos of it (front and back) as well?

As for selling, if you don't have an online shop somewhere, Ebay is probably still a good choice. You can also check prices of sold items there to get an idea. We cannot give any pricing or value information on the forums here.

Definitely check how similar items have sold on eBay, and try and get a feel for how much bidding they attract and what prices they realise, by checking completed listings.

Auctions with a low start price can be disappointing, unless you know for sure that lots of bids are likely.

One strategy is to start an auction at a price you'd be okay with, even if there's only one bid. Then if you've underestimated it's desirability, the price can still go up if several people bid. If you've overestimated the price, you might get no bids, but you can relist and keep trying.

I'd recommend having a buy it now listing unless you have an account with a good following for auction style listings. Auction style listings are much more difficult to realise good prices on in recent times.
