Help dating a vtg YSL dress

Not sure about the age of this dress. Looks very 80s to me
and has shoulder pads, but also has a side metal zipper.

It looks like the early 80s label here on the VFG label resource.
That seems right to me.

My boss used to own that dress, but she tended to buy good quality suits and dresses and wear them for years. I remember that specific print dress (and I know she wore a lot of YSL, Ungaro, Valentino, and Chanel) She had the dress when I started at the museum in 1988 and I think she wore it until about 1993. I suspect the dress is mid 80s though.
