Help dating (another) Cole of California Gold Bikini....1950s? 60s?

Hi all,
This one has a label similar to a 1950s one in the resource....does that look right for this suit?
Also, What would you call this fabric....it is almost like a sprayed on color somehow....I have taken a shot of where the color has rubbed off seemingly on the straps.

That is a great suit indeed! It is not 1950s, as it is way too bare and revealing for an American swimsuit of that time. I see 1970s, but it could be 1960s as well.

We have a member here who specializes in vintage swimwear and perhaps she will stop by and give her educated opinion.

I am in no way an expert in swimwear. My initial thought was 60s. I too would say, especially the panties are too low on the hips for it to be 50s - just my feeling.
