Help dating black satin vintage shoes, 1920's?

I have here a beautiful pair of vintage shoes. I think they seem like they are from the 1920's, or maybe earlier; but other Beth's Bootery shoes I see online are mostly from the 60's, and from a quick google search, I think that is when this dept. was at Saks. These just feel so much older than that, even though the label looks newer. I can see some 60's in them, but more so in these pics then when I am holding them; them they see much older. What do you think?

OK, I feel like an idiot, doing my research AFTER posting my question, but these just really confused me!

They are TOTALLY confusing because they were made to copy the late 1920s style, but in the mid-late 1960s. Beth's bootery was a line of shoes by Beth Levine that was, if I remember correctly, exclusively for Saks Fifth Avenue. Fashion revived past styles in the late 1950s and 1960s, especially the 1920s. Are the buckles damaged? I can't tell. Also, do you think the buckles might be antique? Again I can't tell from the pics.
