help dating brass tone necklace

This brass tone necklace has a long linked chain with decorative ends that have metallic fringe. I'm guessing 1930s-1940s, but I'm not sure and would love some help

I get a late 1930's - 1940's feeling from the lariat necklace. The tassels especially look to me like they are from that period - as does the fleurs de lis ornament. I'm not sure if this is the same chain, but this piece in my collection is from the 1940's. It was a gift from the original owner. The beads are Bakelite.

Linn, the fringe and fleur de lis seemed very 1930s/1940s to me too (I have a 1930s necklace with very similar fringe, and this necklace has a very similar feel/patina to other brass tone jewelry I have from that era). It was the chain that was confusing me. Your chain is different but similar enough that I now feel a little more comfortable dating it to that era.

Cin, I don't smell very well (I have mild allergies, and am always a little stuffed up). I get a slight metallic smell when I smell the necklace.
