Hi! This is quite lovely!! I think it's quite possibly late 1880s, Qing Dynasty BUT I'm not holding it so take that info into your researching which you will love doing. There were some amazing pieces in that era, for wedding, and I think that this is that. While we can't give valuations here, you can research and see what is similar and gauge a price. I handled a wedding skirt last year... it was SUPER exciting to find it a home. : )

All I can say is research like a demon on these... it's a complicated niche market and the collectors are very detailed. I was very happy with my sale, I will tell you that. ; )
That is lovely...unusual styling, I have never seen any robe styled that way. It appears to do up in the front, what are the closures like.

well that’s the thing that confuses me about this, it has tiny hook and eye closures on the front and then at the bottom there is an amazing kick pleat that is buttoned ? With buttons ? Guess they might not be the original buttons ? Pic attached
