Help dating coat - original buttons yes or no?

Hi all

I picked up this lovely vintage coat and wanted some views on dates. I’m thinking 60s, but possibly earlier based on the style of label? Any ideas?

No composition labels or sizing at all. I’ve never heard of Simone Bernard, so would love any information anyone had.

not sure what the fabric type is? Boucle? Something else?

Finally, I’m wondering if the buttons (slightly odd flying saucer lightweight metal/metallic ones) are original or later replacement? Again any thoughts would be great!

I think more early-mid 70s 72-75, it's just not for the younger woman's market. I think the buttons are fine - the fabric is a novelty weave - not sure if there is an exact name for it - but its great fabric.

It's a very lively fabric. I'm not sure, but I wonder if it was made on a Raschel machine.

On second look, I wonder if its early 60s... it seems too tweedy for the early 60s - those bold textured tweedy coats are more typical of early 70s, but I coudl see this being 1963-65 on a 'Ladies Who Lunch' crowd type woman in her 40s. The buttons seem more 60s than 70s - I would expect self material buttons... Ya... I am changing my mind. Definitely more 1964ish.

The telephone number may be a good clue in dating it. Are they still using that type of phone number in Belgium? If not when would they have stopped using it. It does look 60s to me as well.
