Help Dating Dress & Hat

Hi Everyone!

Hoping to get some help dating a dress and a hat. Instead of posting the pics on here, I uploaded the photos to Photobucket. My photos are always WAY too large for the forum and I didn't want to take up that kind of room. I sure hope I added the links correctly.

Thank you SOO much. I was pretty sure the dress was 40's but I couldn't tell with the hat. I was going back and forth between 40's and 50's and just couldn't really be sure.

I see both... but i think these are birds... they look to have beaks abd a blue eye....

I dont see haylos and i think the little Vs represent the flock... but thats just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions :-)
 
Hi All,

They're definitely birds, although I can see the angel shape. But each has a blue sequin eye and a small beak, so I think that eliminates them being angels. Hehe.

Ohhhh, I just love those 40s crepe dresses. Wish crepe was washable, though, as they tend to have been put away sans-wash and usually end up with a bit of ode-de-pit.

I really need to get friendlier with my dry cleaner for just such occasions!
