help dating dress please

Hi all picked up this lovely little dress in charity shop and am trying to date. I thought it may be 60s but now thinking it is later as all the 6os dresses I can find have a different Riddella label. The material appears to have a painted pattern and has a stiff feel. It has a nylon zip under the arm and two ties on the inside at the waist. I am not sure what these would have been for. It also has a wrap with it which is tasselled at one end and a triangle shape at the other. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Sheree, I believe that's an early 'Riddella' label, approx 1950s. I had many dresses and suits from Riddella over the years and the 1960s and 70s ones had a different label, usually the writing is in red with a gold/yellow R. The nylon zipper makes me think later than 1950s but could have been replaced, maybe?! I'm pretty sure the logo is an early one though. The floral print is gorgeous

Hi Julie thanks for the rely. Yes I thinks that's the answer the zip has been replaced.
