Help Dating Dress - Saks Label Sewn Over Designer Label

I need some help dating this dress. It is semi-sheer cotton with a Swiss dot pattern, hidden buttons down the front. It has a designer label and a Saks Fifth Avenue Label sewn over the top. I can't read the designer label and I don't want to remove the Saks label just yet. From the style of the Saks label I would guess 50s-60s but the dress looks earlier than 60s to me. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated!

Here are some shots of the label, both front and back. Held it up to a window to try to get more light through it. Could the second word be "Uniforms" ? If so it's the nicest "uniform" I've ever seen!

It reads Symphony uniforms, the word symphony is written on a stave as music notes are. Could it be the uniform company Saks used for their own staff?

I really didn't see the uniform style until I realized the second word might be uniform. Now it does look like one to me. I wonder which department this would have been? I can find nothing on a google search for any variation of Saks and uniforms search terms. I suppose I will list it as a 1960s Saks uniform/dress! Thanks everyone for the input!

I have searched online for the last hour or so and can't find anything! Nothing comes up for old Saks uniforms, staff, housekeeping, restaurant, salon etc. I too would love to see some old photos. When I first saw the dress (before the label) my initial thought was depression era. But now it looks like rather upscale housekeeper. I will keep searching...
