Help Dating Dress

[716Vintage]

I found this and one other dress in an old country home (I’ll post the other one soon after). This dress has snap closures at the cuffs and 2 snap closures at the back neck. I am still trying to educate myself on dating the older pieces and any information is appreciated as always! Thanks!

Looks like an older dress that was the lower wart in the printed fabric was added to - in a way, it looks rather weird to me. How far does the darker fabric go underneath the printed one?

Thank-you for your response! The darker fabric is only about an inch below the printed one.

Early '30s. I'm wondering if it could be late '20s but the fabric looks '30s so I'll stick with that.

Looks like a Victorian dress remade during the 30's. I think this was pretty common during the depression.
