Help dating dress

Hi Y'all, I have a few dresses I need dating help with.
This is a Linen dress, nicely made, metal zipper, with all interior seams finished with binding. When do you think it is from?

Does it have underarm gussets? My guess is either late '50s or '60s depending on the gussets (or lack thereof).

1950s then. It looks quite short, so it may have been shortened. Thank you for the extra pics. The braid looks very '60s though so I wonder if that was added or perhaps, it was made in the '60s by someone who preferred the older styles and techniques?
