HELP DATING EMBROIDERED DRESS

Good day everyone!

I found this dress with full embroidery from front to back! I plan to wear this for a friend’s event. I am so fascinated with its hand embroidery technique! Would u guys be able to help me date this item or other information you could share about this embroidery.

i am thinking due to sheerness an inner item must be needed for this item.

I'm throwing my first impressions out here but do wait for other opinions!
Very pretty dress and yes, do wear a slip underneath it, LOL. IMHO, 1960s, maybe...
Reminds me of the embroidery of the filipiniana barong tagalog dresses. I'm not convinced that the embroidery is hand done, could we see a few more close-up photos of the back of the embroidered areas?

To me, it does look machine embroidered with those connecting threads, but others may think differently.

Very pretty! I agree with Donna. I have had a couple of Philippine embroidered pieces over the years, and this has that flavor. Mine were multi-colored. The white-on-white here is a bit more sophisticated IMO.

Agree with the others: appears to be 1960s machine embroidery. Lovely, it would have been worn with a slip.

I know right!! I really love that its white and sheer i get to layer it with nice inner dress or long blouse with nice sleeves!!
