Help Dating Embroidered, Gauzy Dress

I am looking for help dating this beautiful gauzy, embroidered dress. It is very delicate, and the embroidery is impeccable -- it could almost be worn inside out, and no one would notice. Whoever made it stitched their initials on the back hem.

That is nice embroidery. I generally associate this sort of garment with Indian '70s for the tourist market but they were made for a long time, perhaps still are being made so hard to date, when unlabelled. Hard to date even when labelled.

The initials on the back could also be an upside down embroidery of the number '30'. These stitches don't exhibit the skill of the other embroidery so I don't think they were made by the same person.
