Help dating family of coats

Hi! I am having difficulty placing these three coats that I found together at an estate sale. My first instinct is that they are 1950’s but as I’ve researched I’ve thought perhaps late 40’s and then even early 60’s lol. Would love your advice!

The women’s tartan coat has no tags other than the sweet name tag The lining of the main body of the coat is wool but the lining of the arms is of a different fabric. The shoulders have a tiny bit of padding to create some shape.

The men’s overcoat has a tag that states Arthur L Johnson Co. Boston. I can’t seem to find anything on this label. Not sure if the color of the plaid lining could help indicate age?

The child’s coat has no labels.

Thank you for any and all advice!

Arthur L Johnson Co was a sporting goods store selling golf, tennis etc apparel. Later on, they expanded to other clothing. The first record I see is from 1909. The store was in downtown Boston on 180 Devonshire
At some point after the 80s, it was acquired by another big name in the Boston retail space called Ara Yacobian. Mr. Johnson himself passed in 1997. He ran the company for many years with his partner Frank Craven

Thank you so much Victoria for this amazing information!

oh, I forgot to mention it earlier, but you might want to try to look INSIDE the inside pockets for a label, especially on that second coat. sometimes there's a union label in there (that can help date it) and sometimes there may be a shop label that MIGHT include a date. good luck!

Thank you so much! I will double check! :)
