Help dating gifted evening bag please

My lovely stepmother gave me this beautiful little bag for the holidays. It belonged to her grandmother, who gave it to her "about twenty five or thirty years ago". She didn't know anything about it, and I would love to be able to date it and share that info with her. It's small (pic with quarter for size reference), and has a very elaborate frame/clasp. The pretty wrist chain appears to be original. Very nicely made and kept in good condition. No identifying marks anywhere that I can find. Any thoughts would be a great help, thanks!

That is one of the loveliest little purses I have seen in a long time. I imagine it must be dazzling under the lights. It looks more like jewelry than an evening bag! I also wonder if it is French. The way the rhinestones are set on the top piece, as well as the general construction, leads me to think this is Art Deco era, late 1920s to mid 1930s.
