Help dating home-sewn Photo print dress

This polyester home-sewn dress has a talon zip and what I would call a bell sleeve. Thinking 70's, any thoughts? Thanks!

Looks 70s to me, too. Is that odd piecing I'm seeing in the bodice area? Neat print!

Those aren't bell sleeves because of the cuffs. I'd call them bishop sleeves.
Thanks, bishop sleeve is much more accurate. The front of the bodice does have some very uneven piecing, strangely the back is done nice and neat.

Yes, I'd call them bishop sleeves too.

Mid '7os for this one. It looks like a polyester knit. The horizontal seams might be an addition to shorten the dress. They're unusual to have in a photo print like this because it distorts the print, so I think they were added afterwards. Looks like the cuffs may have also have been taken up.

I agree with Nicole this has been altered, though I wonder if the upper two bodice seams were original, as those are the neater two, the fullness there leads into the sleeves and the top one is sewn underneath the neck facing. The bottom two are not as professional and it seems quite an odd alteration to come up with on your own, I think they just copied the original pattern.
The shortening of the cuffs like that I have never seen. Does it not go through a button hole?

Thank you both! The cuff seam/shortening does go through the buttonhole, oddly. The top 3 bodice seams are sewn in the same (white) thread, but the bottom (poorly cut and sewn) seam is sewn in a different (tan) thread. Here is a shot of the seams showing how they relate to sleeve's fullness. Sorry for the sideways photo:)
