Help dating Hood rain galoshes

I have a pair of Hood rain galoshes with rubber heels.
The body of the over boot feels like a thin canvas and only the sole / heel is rubber.
There is elastic at the top so you can get your heel inside easier and the inside is striped.
After some research, I've seen advertisements for Hood galoshes dating back to the 1920s and up to the 1950s.
It seems like the complete rubber galoshes were a little bit later. Any help dating would be greatly appreciated!

My first impression was 1950's possibly early 60's, it reminds me of how dressy gloves also had frilly cuffs at this time, and monochrome stripes always make me think of My Fair Lady (1964)
