Hi, I am having trouble finding any information on this neon loungewear jumpsuit. The tag says Pennyrich made in USA, 100% Nylon. It has a rope tie attached at the back, which ties to the front. Has metal snap buttons. The style seems like 60s, but I wanted to make sure.
Thank you!!

By far, the bulk of the references I found to Pennyrich were from the late 1960's--and were advertising the Pennyrich bra(s). One of the articles had a little history of the company: "Penny Rich designed her first bra in 1950, when she was living in San Francisco., to solve her own problems of fit." The article noted: "Pennyrich business is split about 50-50 between women who are fitted in the shop and those who are fitted in their homes by trained Pennyrich consultants." There were a great many Pennyrich (International Inc) classified ads asking for "ambitious, experienced party plan leaders."

In December 1969 Pennyrich went into Chapter XI (they emphasized that was not bankruptcy). I found a few more ads, into at least 1974, for Pennyrich bras "and lingerie," but I had to stop searching shortly after that. If I have time I will try to find more information about when Pennyrich officially went out of business.

Thank you so much! All I could find were a few ebay listings for bras, and a store in Texas, and I wasn't sure if it was the same one. You are a pro!!
