Help dating Macy's label

Hi there, hoping you knowledgeable ladies and gents can help me out with the labels on this dress. One is Macy's and the price listed is $5.99, which makes me think it's 50s to 60s. I've never seen that sort of label before - would it be a deadstock item?

Hi, generally it is easier for us to date the garment, than the label, which can remain the same for several decades. If you have the item in question could we see photos of that?

Thanks for your help. Here are pics. It's 100% cotton. There is serging on the skirt seams but the bodice seams have been cut with pinking shears.

What a cute sun dress! Yes I would say that is comfortably 1950's. The shape of that self covered belt is a particular feature I've found several times. The tag could feasibly have been put on later if it just slips through the string, but if the dress looks unworn in the pertinent places (back of the neck, underarms) then yes I'd call that a deadstock item. Do note the tag is for the fabric however, and not the dress.

How long is the skirt length? It looks short to me for '50's unless it's very, very late in the decade. Is there a size indicator or on the belt? Is so, what are the measurements?

It looks like there's a manufacturer's name on the belt but I can't read it.

I think it may be '60's.

Due to the length, I think it's somewhere between 1959-1963. There are some shirtwaist dresses in the 1961 Sear's catalog with similar belts and easy care cotton fabric - priced at $5.84.

According to this article there were data processing tags earlier than the late 1960's although the early '70's was the hey day.
