Help Dating - Mens Shawl Cardigan - Standard Knitting Company Ltd

hello,

recently came across this lovely men's shawl collar cardigan. i found some information on the company - it was founded in 1923, established in 1930, and it was sold to partners in 1967 who changed the name.

from my research, shawl cardigan sweaters were quite popular in the 1920s. would this be an accurate dating? also to note - the pockets are faux, and completely sewn on with no opening.

This sweater looks 1950s to me, perhaps even early 60s.

I agree with 50 and a little later due to the shade of the blue and style.

Some companies used the labels on hand, so sometimes labels look older than the garment. I agree with at least 50's , but the intense color could be 1960's.
