Hi there everyone,
I have this jacket that struck me initially as 80s but the tag and something about it strikes me as possibly earlier....any thoughts?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Lauren

found this on an interesting 'leather' site:
When I saw my first Score jacket it was in Rin Tanaka’s History of Motorcycle Jackets book. It was unidentified by manufacturer. I researched that jacket. It was so cool. As it turns out it should have been in the Canadian jacket section. That jacket was developed and designed by Score Sportswear of Toronto. Open since 1930 Score was one of the many jacket manufacturers down on Spadina (now Chinatown) where I live and work. I knew one of my first jackets would be a Score!

Hi,

Steve McQueen wore Score motorcycle jackets and clothing, both in his films and in his personal life. There is a strong association with McQueen collectors to his earlier "King Of Cool" days. So you might want to mention that in your auction description. I know this because my boyfriend is a huge McQueen fan and has written about him, etc. And we are friends with his first wife.

I suspect that McQueen fans boost prices on Ebay. And your jacket is not the usual style, so I think it might fetch a very pretty penny.

I really like it.
