Help dating "Royalton Ltd" wedding gown with embroidered sleeves

Hello again,
This one also from a hallowe'en rack...unfortunately there are two small, but probably rust, stains at the side....however, wondering how to date this? the label says "Made In British Crown Colony of Hong Kong" I've had purses etc with made in British Hong Kong but this is the first time of seen it termed crown colony....I see that British Hong Kong refers to the complete timeline until 1997, but can't seem to find much more about labeling etc...
Also wondering what those two tab things are at the neckline of the bodice.

Lovely dress - I'd say around 1964 or 65 - give or take a few years either way.

The deep cuffs and full sleeves look a little more 1968-70 to me.

Another vote for late '60s. It's quite stunning and the embroidery is probably all hand done. A pity about the marks.

They had big factories in HK during the '60s, full of ladies hand beading and embroidering. I'm not sure where you are, Lauren, but we see quite a bit of HK work in Australia as local fashion companies were enthusiastic early supporters of off-shoring.

I don't see any tabs: do you have a photo?

I am guessing that the tabs, if at the shoulder of the bodice, were to hold your bra straps in place so they would not peak out of the low cut front. They are often found in this type of garment. Just narrow little straps with a snap.

they are in the front of the bodice....I almost wonder if they are there to prevent the neckline from rolling forward?

Thank you for the pic! Do the tabs contain boning? It's a very wide neckline, and would be inclined to gap so they could be there to keep it in place.
