Help dating short boucle jacket 60s? 70s? 2000s? Is it even vintage?

So I found this short jacket along with a bunch of vintage goods. Shawl collar, big buttons, boucle fabric. I felt like it may fit into 60s or early 70s but really I’m not sure if it’s even vintage. There’s no tags, no care label, no size - nothing. Its quite worn so may look older than it is. The fabric according to a burn test has some wool content, but I’m pretty sure it’s rather a wool blend. No construction clues whatsoever. What era would you put it into? If there’s anyone familiar with the style your help would be much appreciated.

It looks like 1960s to me.. most likely would have had a matching skirt.

Yes, 1960s, when a boxy little jacket like this was part of a skirt suit, as DaisyandStella said. And yes, bouclé. Might it have been homemade?

Yes it may be, as there are no tags and it doesn’t seem like they were removed. However I’m not sure as it’s construction doesnt give any clue
