help dating some shoes....again....

just came back from stock finding...lol....

and i have a car boot full of shoes..clothes..handbags and some toiletries.....

just picked these out quickly as its getting late... and i am all excited with my finds....i just wanted to dates these shoes before i go to bed...... dont think i will be able to sleep as i just want to play with them now ...lol...... well you know what i mean......
the second pair are snakeskin ..with crown collection name.. the codes on the inner are 65B 555/31

the first pair are lotus with the codes lotus A59 ???
70B LE2-46? 53059.39 the ? means i cant make the no. s out..

I couldn't help with the dating but if you need a pair of feet to keep them stored on, mine are available.

i have just tried the on.... to ~@>>~~ big for me....i dont normally weat heeled shoes anymore.... but i thought i need to start dressing in some vintage items to promote my new business.... never mind....i did pick up a georgous jacket style coat... which i know i will deff. wear....

The navy? peep toes are pure wartime, c. 1942-45
The brown snakes look mid-late 60s to me with the slightly square toe and mid-height heel, c. 1966/67ish
The light blue slippers are anywhere from about 1946 - 1956 -- they are hard to date because they didn't change much for long time.

when i contacted lotus.... at the begining of the year.. about some info... they said there was a shoe museum up country somewhere... which i am hoping to find out where it is and go and spend a few days in the area....( hubby and the kids can just leave me there all day.on my own . with my packed lunch )

they mentioned that sometimes you can date the shoes by the codes.... do you know anything about this ?
