Help dating Teena Paige Dress......1940s or 50s?

Hello All,
Would you put this late 40s or 50s? I've seen a few similar ones tagged 40s but also wondering if it was meant to be worn with a crinoline.
Reminds me of Judy Garland's Dorothy.
Would this be considered a day dress?
Thanks again in advance.
Lauren

Neither, I would have said early 60's with the peter pan collar, lace and colour. The label is more 50's/60's in style too with that font.

I think it's very late '50's - around 1958. It seems long to me for early '60's. I searched for Teena Paige in the Newspaper Archives and there are ads from the 1940's - 1970's. I didn't look through everything and didn't find this exact dress but some similar ones in 1958. I'm not sure it's full enough to be worn with much of a crinoline.

I agree with Linn, that it's not full enough for a crinoline - and I agree with you Lauren that it's a day dress! Lastly, I agree with Joules, Mary Jane and Melanie with early '60s. That colour was very popular then.
