I cannot find anything similar to these pants. Wondering if anyone has any info on them or this brand? I have heard of and can find the Lee Wald brand but only jackets...

They look postwar 1940s/early 50s to me because of their narrow belt loops, brass zipper, cut and finishing, but purple corduroy is throwing me off! I want to say 1970s because of their colour and material.

I also thought there are elements that make these look much earlier than 1970. But, like Jonathan, the color and fabric made me think of 1970s almost immediately. Perhaps the "Prep" line still held on to earlier construction and styling, but used a more contemporary fabric to appeal to the more stylish young men of the day. Or...I am not at all sure!

Ok, yes, these are all the same issues I am having. Style is reminding me of more 50s. The fabric is a maroon color also.
Here's a photo of the zipper

In the top photos I saw a more purple color, and the fabric looked like a velveteen. With the added photos, I can see that it is a pinwale cordouroy, a great fabric, and the color looks like an oxblood or cordovan maroon. A little more masculine color, and a more traditional trouser fabric. They are really great pants.
