Help Dating this antique silk set please!

How pretty! I have seen similar sets, although with longer jackets. I am thinking 1930s and a lounging set. These were popular as Asian import items.

I cant help with dating but I just wanted to say that this is gorgeous and is it a skirt or wide legs? I really LOVE this!!! u2 me with the link if and when you list it....

I am still gonna guess.... I get a 40s feel from it but I am still a novice so I am just throwing a guess based on gut nothing else.... so dont hold my opinon of any value lol but I wanted to get my guess in before others swayed my opinion :-) So I think its late 40s possibly early 50s

Thanks everyone

Yes, I was also thinking 30's, but was not sure if it was a little older or not. I have a store but specialize in New Look era, so older items are definitely not my specialty. I did list it as 20's to 30's, though so its good that I don't have to go back and make any major changes. Many thanks to all who replied :kiss2:

I've seen a few of these for sale as "20s" but agree that yours is '30s (don't think I've ever seen a real '20s one out of a museum).

Gorgeous! Well done, you - I don't think I could part with it if it were mine.

I'm definitely thinking 30's for this lounge suit too. It's gorgeous! I'm seeing Kate Hepburn swanning around in this. Fabulous - yes very yummy indeed :drinkingtoast:

definately late 1920s to early 1930s lounging pajamas. Especially with the fluted legs with inserts and the oriental style.

Gorgeous colours
