Help dating this fur coat?

Hey guys!
I found this beautiful fur coat at an antique store today. Unfortunately, I cannot find a lot of information on Levy-Wolf online because it looks like they closed in the 80s. Just curious if anyone could help me determine the value/year of this coat. Thanks in advance

Your jacket is great! The fur appears to be mouton, and I would date it to the late 1940s to early 1950s. Lets see what others think.

It also looks like sheared beaver, but the fur does not look as dense as that. Is the coat fairly heavy? Mouton is heavier than beaver.

Julie, can you get a better shot of the other label - that starts with BEL? or type what it reads.

I agree with Barbara that it does look like Mouton but I am also wondering if it might be a really good faux fur.

The fur label authority label was introduced in 1956 to my knowledge so I would say late 50s
