Help dating this kimono please :)

Hi! I bought this lovely Kimono this morning at an estate sale. I have a feeling it is older, but I’m not sure how to date these! It feels like a heavy cotton.

Kimonos and other traditional garments can be hard to date. One way is to look at fabric composition and construction but they're usually either pure cotton or silk, and entirely handsewn. If they fail these three tests they might be more modern or made for the tourist market.

I can't really explain why (not my area of expertise), but it looks 30s-40s to me because of the colours and style of imagery of the wartime propaganda ones I have seen, but I don't know... just a feeling.
