help dating this LL Bean olive plaid lined jacket

hi everyone, I've looked up old labels for LL Bean but can't seem to find anything remotely similar to this one. The stitch work on the label also looks pretty shoddy so could it be a fake? Thanks

No older than 1987, since it has the "Sunrise over Katahdin" logo.
(I'm not aware of LL Bean clothing being faked?)

I'm pretty sure it's contemporary or not quite old enough to be vintage. They started outsourcing their manufacturing to Asia in the mid-90s.

I don't think LL Bean stuff is faked. Unfortunately, the quality isn't quite what it used to be (as I look down at my contemporary LL Bean flannel shirt that has not held up very well).

Still LL Bean stuff is iconic and should do well if you list it.

LL Bean stuff is not 'faked,' but the labels have changed a bit so they look different. This might be fairly contemporary though not yet vintage.
