Help dating this red dress, help

Hi, this is a red dress I found. I am thinking 80s, but the belt loops on the front throws me off. It has a belt in the waist, and the hem is a bubble hem. Help, Thanks!

Hi, thanks, the zipper is in the back of the dress. It is not metal, but vinyl.

Does it have any type of tags at all? How does the construction look inside?

There is a tag that say lot 11/12 and tag that says dry clean only. Inside at the bottom has a black mesh lining, it is not hard like tulle, it is soft. The bodice is lined with the same material it is made out of. There are clothes hanging straps attach at the armpits. That's about it. Then there are the three belt loops two on the side one in the front.

thinkin those sleeves may well be designed to actually surround the shoulder, rather than sit ON a shoulder. is the bodice boned at all?

looks like 80's party wear to me...

Agreed: eighties party dress, and the sleeves should sit further down the shoulders. The three belt loops are to hold a sash that ties at the back.

Thanks to all that helped, I really appreciate it. Hi, I was a teenager in the 80's and I do not remember seeing anything like this, the belt thing was unusual, especially the loop in the front. Thanks for helping me decide, I am going with 80's.
