I picked up this beauty last weekend! I believe the clasp is brass or at least brass plated, the snaps to adjust the straps are nickel, and the hooks the strap attaches through look like copper. I really don't know much about vintage fashion but a quick googling makes me think this is 70's? Thanks for any input!

We just listed a very similar one...dated it to late 50s /early 60s.

I agree with Mary Jane on the date of this handbag. I have a similar tooled leather bag and it actually still had a 1955 bus ticket in it when I purchased it. The ticket was from Denver, Colorado.
