help dating this unique dress

So I'm not really sure if this is vintage or not? It reads 80s or 90s perhaps, but it could be newer? It has one of those "crafted with pride" labels and a "dry clean only label". It has a nylon ykk zipper and it's well made. Has boning and fully lined with a tulle insert. It's pretty unique! Cotton. For some reason I'm thinking 80's, but I can't be sure. Thoughts? Oh it also has slight fading in a couple spots where something was covering the black perhaps - which leads me to think it's older.
