Help dating this Victorian looking dress

this is one of two I have, the back fastens with hooks and then snaps below the waist. I have no idea if it's a reproduction or is Victorian or what to think- any and all input appreciated as always!

Its a costume piece, not antique, made to be worn in a film or theatrical production, etc.

I agree it's a costume piece, because the buttons appear to be mid 20th century and the bodice is lacking the internal structure a victorian garment inherently has.

I agree. The trims are modern as well, as is the construction.
