Help dating this vintage cabachon pendant?

Hi everyone! I have this unique piece of costume jewelry in my possession, and was curious if anyone had any thoughts on what the date/era could be on this piece? It is a really beautiful pendant, featuring cabachon, imitation pearl and crystal embellishment. The center piece looks like "filigree" to me and the tone is slighlty more "brassy" than a typical gold plate, could it be brass possibly? Any input as to the era would be very much appreciated, and also the "style" and any possible keywords that come to mind, too :). I first thought 70s but almost wonder if it could be older. There aren't any signatures that I could see...thanks in advance!

I agree with your dating Bridget. My first thought was 60's/70's as well and some keywords that come to mind is maybe a Regency or Renaissance Revival drop pendant necklace with swag chainwork. It has an almost girandole styling, although perhaps different, but would likely refer to the main body as openwork with an antiqued gold toned finish.

I'm sure you'll get some more/better keywords soon.

Lovely statement piece!

Thanks Laura, that helps a lot!! Regency/Renaissance Revival seem the exact types of key-words I was looking for, it just didn't "connect" when I looked at it...thanks for steering me in the right direction!!
