Help dating this \"What Ever Happned to Baby Jane\" Dress

Does anyone know what year this dress is from? I'm guessing it's teens but it has a lot of Victorian details. It reminds me of the little girl style frock that Bette Davis wore as "Baby Jane" in "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" but it is not a girl's size... It's made from an opaque cotton embroidered material - kind of like an eyelet lace with cutouts - could this be lawn? Organdy? Voile? (though it's not stiff at all) I appreciate any & all of your expertise in identifying this style and date - thanks in advance!

It looks like a Baby Jane dress to you because it's from the period when Baby Jane was a star - early 20s.

A closer macro photo of the textile, might be helpful to identify.

The slightly dropped waist, tub shaped skirt, wide cummerbund sash, sleeve length.. all are typical of c. 1921-22.

I agree it has all the elements to be early 1920's. Definitely not pre 1920.

I love calling it a Baby Jane Dress!
