Help dating unlabeled colorful striped scarf

This scarf is a mystery to me. I'm hoping the shape and/or colorway will help with dating? The fabric is a medium weight silky synthetic of some sort. The shape is one I haven't seen before as well, longer on on one side. It measures 7" wide, 36" long on the long side, and 26" long on the shorter side. Hope that makes sense Any help with dating and fabric ID would be wonderful. Thanks!

I associate the diagonal ended scarves with the 1970s primarily, and I think the colourway and the striping would fit with that era, but the ones I find are usually a single layer or crystal pleated so I wonder if yours could be earlier.
