Help dating Vicky Vaughn sun dress? late 40's early 50's?

Thanks in advance for any help : )
Can someone confirm the era of this dress. My hunch is late 40's early 50's? The design of the label and some dress features suggest so. I just wanted to be certain.
Dress has raw seams, 1 inch hand stitched hem, side metal zipper, made from cotton. I have attached a few images
