Help Dating Victorian Gingham Dress Set

Hi all,
I have a wonderful antique gingham skirt & bodice set that also came with a black silk under skirt.
The gingham has a medium weight. The outer skirt has silk lining the waistline as well as a placket at the back with eye/hooks. The bodice is fully lined with the same silk and the sleeve hems has knife pleated silk trim (same silk as under skirt). The bodice also has eye/hook closures.

I would love to find more information about on this set as well as era.

Thanks much for looking!
Brooke

Its c. 1907-09 and would be worn with a blouse under the jacket - probably a black silk or net lace, not a white cotton, unless its very lacey. Nice suit - I like high Edwardian stuff and its not easy to find.

Excellent and thank you Jonathan! After reading the fashion timeline, I was unsure it was even Victorian so definitely appreciate your expertise.
