Help dating vintage hat

Hi everyone! Need helping dating a hat I found. My gut tells me this is from the 40’s or early 50’s based on the style of the feathered accent, but I had one similar in shape a couple years ago that dated to the 60s so I’m really not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

Well that is one cute hat! I think your gut was right, I would date it to the early 1950s or close to that.
