Help dating vintage western pant suit and fabric id?

Hi all,
I have a vintage western suit consisting of high waist capri length pants and a vest.
The vest features embroidery and 'arrow' pockets. The pants also have arrow accent pockets in front, with a side metal zip and two button closures at thick waistband. The material has a fluid silky feel, without the traditional feel of silk, while also holding the shape of the pant creases. Could this be a type of rayon? And is this common in western wear?

Any idea on dating? I'm all over the board from 40s - early 60s. There are no labels or identifying tags inside. My next step is to search the web and see what I can find that may be comparable.

Thanks in advance for your time!
Brooke

Do you have any close ups of the waist snaps? and the embroidery. I'm wary to call them earlier when I have some 80's capris cut just the same, with that particular wide high waistband, and it could be home sewn of course.

The pant is hemmed under twice (original hem allowance would have been 1 3/4") but has been re-hemmed to a total of a 3 5/8" under hem.

The side closures are button/loops and not snap buttons. I've attached an image of this.
I've also attached a close-up of the fabric - it almost appears that there are subtle scattered horizontal ribs, but not condensed or slubbed like linen. I can make out a diagonal slope, but now i'm wondering if me eyes are just seeing this as i know that's a characteristic of gabardine.

Other attachments include the embroidery, one of the arrow point pockets and lastly one of the front waistband shape. I'm really not getting an 80s vibe with this set, but I could be wrong.

Also my model is taller between 5'8 and 5'9.

Thanks!
