Help Dating White virgin wool trench coat 1980s or 1990s?

Hi Everyone, this coat has me a little confused. I was initially thinking late 80s but wondering if it might be a bit earlier or later?
any thoughts??

Another vote for mid '70s - it's a lovely coat, I love pale colours in wintery coats.

Hi!

I have a really similar coat in my shop! Late 70's to early 80's union label. Same color, collar, and similar lapels. My coat has pleats in the back as well, but sitting a bit differently.
