help dating wool coat by Primrose of Canada with fur trim

Hi All,
Wondering two things....would you say 60s or 70's or something else? and wondering if the furs been added...the backing of the collar fur is the same satin/acetate colour as the coat lining but the hem fur has a slightly different shade of black lining.

It could be '70s - the labels don't look any older than that, but I'm hesitant to say a firm '70s because it could be newer.

Can't help you on the fur, sorry: perhaps if you have any interior shots? It seems to sit quite well, which suggests original.

That is a nice coat. I would say 70s as well with that very A-Line look.

The fur looks like it might be muskrat.

It looks to me like the sort of thing conservative women would wear well into the 1970s, even though it was based on a style that was popular in the mid 1960s. I can see someone like Betty Ford wearing this in 1976.
