Hi Everyone, Last one for today....I'm getting ready for my first vintage clothing show this weekend...
I'd thought this was from the 40s or 50s, but am not sure and have seen this label somewhere but can't remember where....
Any help much appreciated.
Lauren

Hey Gayle, thanks, I knew I had seen that somewhere and couldn't remember what the CC stood for....I could only find reference to a hat/western riding company from here in North America...

The wide lapels and double breasted front are not in keeping with wartime regulations - but CC41 was in use from 1942 to 1952 (the plan was devised in 1941 but not enacted until 1942) and this is probably from about 1947-48 when the wide lapels come back in fashion.

Lauren - can you check very closely to make sure the trousers are actually an exact match to the jacket? I buy lots of tuxedos and often the trousers are not an actual match upon close inspection.

Also - are you able to button the jacket left over right as opposed to how you have shown in your photo?
