Hi there!

I was wondering if anyone might be able to point me in the right direction. I've looked through all the images I thought were somewhat similar in the fur resource but nothing seems to fit. I believe this coat is 40s, if that helps. It's SO soft and fluffy

A co-worker thought possibly ermine at first, but after reading about them/seeing closer images, I'm not so sure.

Any tips would be of great help.. thank you!!

Hi there, Pretty coat. The fur type is red squirrel that has been color enhanced with stripes to look more like mink fur. I see a bit of guardhair wear where some of the fur ends have broken off, are shorter in areas, and lighter in color. Still a nice piece of history.
