Help finishing off this outfit please

Hi all, wonder if you can help me please?

I've bought this little beauty of a dress for a wedding and need some help on what to do about a jacket/cover up/other accessories to make it wedding (and UK chilly November) appropriate - and do it justice (Sadly, my haircut isn't helpful)

Any ideas on style and colour really much appreciated. It has a pale pink underskirt and the flower on the dress are shades of pink and brown (It's a 70s cotton fabric), and these are the shoes I want to wear (mock croc with a brown leather heel).

Thanks very much :)

I would go with layers, so you can wear lots and take off as needed. Personally I would be going for a slim long sleeved fine knit cardigan (if you can get a cropped one that would be ideal) and a fur/faux wrap/wide collar on top. You could wear short cotton gloves to match your shoes.

If you are considering a modern shrug, Calvin Klein has some that might work in that are in neutral tones. And then you can add gloves.

Thanks for the fab ideas and lovely compliment on my figure *blush*. This is the first time I've tried a proper petticoat with a dress and wowzers! Can I wear one everyday please?

I really like the idea of layers, especially if inside the venue is chilly. I'd not considered it before! Just moved from a town where there many retired folks so the charity shops were full of gorgeous gloves, often unworn. I should've snapped them all up!
