Sorry but we can't help you with value here. You would need to do some overall internet research and see what similar coats are fetching.
You might find some 50s cashmere coats listed on Etsy or Ebay or some vintage clothing websites.
It does look like a nice coat.

Well, the cashmere fabric was made by Princeton and imported. The coat was made by a local tailor, to order for M.L.Vance, and they added his initials, just like in a fur coat. That's all I've got.
Cashmere coats are not hard to find, but they are lovely and generally desirable. We can't provide value/pricing information here, but it's easy enough to do some searching and see what things sold for. It's worth exactly what someone will pay for it. No more, no less.
